CaterQuotes secures successful start to 2019 by welcoming eight new vendors; adding more than 3,000 products to its industry-leading online marketplace and CPQ (configure, price, quote) software platform for the foodservice industry. CaterQuotes closed out its fiscal year with record growth from April 2018 through March 2019.
The new vendors publishing in CQ include Bridge Catering Fabrications, Die-Pat Divisions, Ltd., Hendi Food Service Equipment, Katerbay Catering Equipment, Merseyside Catering Fabrications, Mobile UK Limited, Smeg Foodservice and Stellex Manufacturing.
These vendors join a roster of nearly 200 equipment and smallwares suppliers furthering CQ’s position as the UK’s most comprehensive product and information database available for foodservice industry professionals.
Following a successful year in 2018, that saw CaterQuotes introduce both the CQ Designer Plug-In, a design add-on that links CQ projects to AutoCAD, and CQ Analytics, a built-in reporting feature for tracking CQ project activity, CaterQuotes started 2019 by announcing more new solutions to support and streamline customer workflows.
At the Professional Kitchen Show in January, CQ View was revealed, which is the first module on a forthcoming reporting platform specifically for vendors publishing in CQ. Also launching this year for all CQ customers is the CQ Designer Plug-In for Autodesk® Revit®, CQ SKU, an integration tool that supports inventory import and custom item creation, a brand-new CQ mobile application, and integration for Sage™.
“Our team in both the UK and the US are always thrilled to welcome new vendors to CQ,” said Paul Shaw, Operations Director at CaterQuotes. “There’s no better time for suppliers and manufacturers to join CaterQuotes. With new reporting capabilities and solutions ahead, CQ remains positioned to be the best long-term partner for our customers to drive their businesses forward.”
Paul added: “CQ is always striving to continually bring added value to our vendors through new features and tools which enhance usability, as well as excellent customer service whenever our customers need support.
“CQ is at the core of the catering equipment industry, linking manufacturers to dealers, distributors, reps and consultants. In the initial months of 2019 over 44,000 projects were created on the software, resulting in £568 million in project volume, proving the power of our technology solutions.”
